Join us for another Community Hike at Griffith Park!
Psyched for another community hike? Go yogis, it's your Earth Day, and we're gonna hike like it's your Earth Day! Join Nate Apuna for a day of strolling and grounding in nature to tap into our roots – pun very much intended – and root chakras, the energetic seat of our connection to the physical world. Nate will lead a moderately challenging and as-social-or-silent-as-you-prefer hike from Fern Dell to the West Observatory Loop Trail to Griffith Observatory, ending in a grounding meditation and reflection on the immersive "nature bath" you just experienced.
Connect with each other and nature while you focus your mind and lower stress, so you can truly appreciate everything nature provides. Wear comfortable clothing, bring sunscreen, hats, and water, and, if you'd like to make the most of this experience, we recommend leaving tech in the car, so you can better tune your senses to what's around you. During the meditation, you'll have the option to connect directly with the earth under your bare feet, so be sure to bring a towel or wipes or keep the feeling of the grass and soil with you!
This hiking meet-up is open to everyone, please pre-register so we know you're joining! We'll email pre-registered attendees with reminders about the time, precise meet-up location, and what to bring.
