I took my very first yoga class in September of 2013 with my neighbor Jess, who was opening a little studio in Silverlake called One Down Dog. That class turned out to be one of the most important classes I’ve ever taken, and the beginning of a practice that continues to shape how I move, breathe, and show up in my life.
When I’m not on the mat, my 11-year-old keeps me on my toes and offers daily lessons in curiosity, flexibility, and presence (parenting is no joke). I love motorcycle rides, weekends in the desert, and getting lost in a really good book. Continuing education is my jam! I recently completed my 200-hour teacher training. I’m also a certified EMT, which has deepened my respect for the body, resilience, and staying calm when things get real.
As the middle child of six, I’ve developed strong skills in diplomacy, adaptability, and perhaps most importantly, making sure I still get a piece of the pie.
