Yoga encompasses so much, but what lies beneath the physical body? In this module, we’ll dive into the subtle body and chakra system, exploring the movement of energy, the mind, and emotions. The study of the subtle body helps take experiences from physical shapes to experiences in your whole being, so that we may integrate body, breath, and imagination.
We'll explore the historical context of the chakras and how these energy centers live within our bodies through metaphor and experience. This module will help to infuse your practice and teaching with energy and life force. We'll leap towards the heart with the ecstatic practices of bhakti, mantra, and chanting to reconnect with the deep origins of this ancient practice.
*note: this will only count toward a 300 hr. teacher training if you have already completed 200 hr.
