My Class Style:
I specialize in Hatha Yoga, Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga, as well as various forms of meditation and mindfulness. My classes combine physical postures with conscious breathwork and an inward focus. I aim to change the perception of yoga as simply a form of exercise, and help students to experience the full power of yoga as a way of reconnecting to the self.
I began my yoga journey in 2015, while living and working in San Francisco. In 2017, I left my corporate career behind and completed a 200-hr teacher training at The Practice in Bali, Indonesia. I returned home to Boston, where I taught for several years while also pursuing a degree in songwriting from Berklee College of Music. I’ve recently returned to California with a renewed focus on my two passions - yoga and music.
With two yoga teaching certifications, years of formal meditation practice, two undergraduate degrees in psychology and music, and a lifetime of singing and performance, I’ve developed an unusual mix of skill sets. I combine an innate sense of creativity, curiosity and drive with strong technical ability, communication and self-awareness. I use my unique experience and perspective to guide people through their process of self-discovery and spiritual growth, and to help them foster conscious connections.
