November “PAY WHAT YOU CAN (FOR A CAUSE)” Classes: Supporting Emergency Food Assistance
With SNAP benefits paused beginning November 1, many in our local community may face increased food insecurity. Throughout November, One Down Dog is turning all Pay-What-You-Can Classes into “Donate-What-You-Can” Classes to raise funds for local emergency food assistance programs and food banks.
Our community goal: $1,000 raised — ODD will match up to $500 for a total of $1,500 in donations by month’s end.
By joining a donation-based yoga class, you’ll be supporting the community two-fold:
1️⃣ Your practice supports your own wellbeing at a cost you choose.
2️⃣ Your donation helps provide meals and essential resources to neighbors in need.
If you can’t make it to class, you can still contribute — donate cash at the front desk or send via Venmo @onedowndog.
Together, we can move, breathe, and give back — one down dog at a time.
To sign up, look for "PAY WHAT YOU CAN (FOR A CAUSE)" on the class schedule. You can book these classes with your regular membership or class pack or you may opt to make a donation as payment for the class.
