Hometown:
Fish Creek, Wisconsin
Favorite Song/Artist:
currently listening to a lot of Lucinda Williams
Odd Fact:
I try to learn a new skill each year. So far I’ve tackled whistling, playing tennis, and macrame.
My Class Style:
You are adaptable AF and how you move should be too. Guided by my studies of breathing and pressure patterns, I blend tools from yoga, Pilates, mobility, dance, and strength and conditioning to create classes that will leave you feeling empowered to move with more confidence and freedom. We use organic explorations of shapes, breath, and movement to leave you feeling strong, nourished, and most importantly resilient.
I have always been a mover. From ballet and long distance running as a kid, to teaching yoga, followed by an endless pursuit of knowledge in Pilates, strength, mobility, and posture and respiration therapy, I am a lifelong learner. I love gardening, parrots, New Orleans, pickles, laying in the sun, and Formula 1. Credential stuff: Studied at Northwestern University, 200 hour vinyasa yoga teacher training, FRC mobility specialist, Equinox classical mat Pilates, CSCS, and many courses with the Postural Restoration Institute.
