Hear From Our Grads

“ODD YTT was one of the best things I’ve ever done for myself. Not only were the teachers the most beautiful humans and souls, but they also were honest and real… and they really help guide and empower me to discover so much within myself. I loved learning about the theory of yoga and being able to apply it in practice every single day on the mat. Every time I left class, I was in a good mood, felt empowered, and honestly, just happy. Each teacher has a different style, so you are able to grasp different methods of teaching, which is helpful. I definitely encourage anyone who is thinking about doing it to do so!”
– Krizelle S.
“After taking many classes with ODD-trained teachers like Caitlin, Hallie & Armen, I knew there was no better place to do my own teacher training. ODD’s 200-hour training provided not only everything needed to become a thoughtful & proficient teacher, it also broadened the scope to include education on things like pre-natal yoga and ayurvedic diet. All of it was guided by trainers and teachers who are the best in LA. As time has passed, even though I’ve moved away from teaching, I am consistently grateful for the deepening of my own practice that the training at ODD gave me and how much better it is than other studios who offer training based on what I’ve heard from others.”
– Ben S.
“I truly feel Yoga Teacher Training is for everyone. It’s strengthened my knowledge and form of the physical practice of yoga, asana but has also given me so many tools to survive these difficult times through the philosophical aspects of yoga. You’ll also be in a community with incredible and kind people that will become friends.”
– Carmen
“Attending One Down Dog’s YTT was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I feel like I’m part of a great community of very diverse individuals who all come together to further their knowledge about yoga! I highly recommend this for literally everyone!”
– Lisa w.
“Amazing experience with One Down Dog teacher Training! Each team member has a unique vision about Yoga. The best way to learn from different points of view and perspectives. Yet, they bring a beautiful harmony and it felt like an easy dive into yoga. New unexpected doors opened up, these surprises were such an enriching and fulfilling experience. I started this training with one goal and ended with a wild horizon of what is and could become the journey of a yogi.”
– Mélissa G.
Teacher training was so much more than I could have asked for. Cindy and the ODD team have put together a standout program. I wasn’t sure if any sort of teacher training program was meant for me, but signing up turned out to be the best decision I’ve ever made for myself!
– Stephanie S
“I signed up for Teacher Training at One Down Dog after practicing at the studio for a few months. I was drawn to the studio for the range of classes and a welcoming, community-driven atmosphere, and I found the same thing during teacher training. The class was based on conversation, so I got to understand different perspectives not only from each of the four teacher’s expertise and knowledge but through my classmates’ personal journeys both on and off the mat.”
– Sophia S.
“ODD’s YTT was an incredibly enriching experience. Whether you intend to teach or not, ODD’s training instills in its students a well-rounded foundation of knowledge that encourages creativity, accessibility, and cultivating community.
– Gabbi n.
