Ready to support your students in exploring difficult postures? Join our very own comic-book loving superhero, Steven Arcos, for a weekend of arm balances, inversions, and advanced standing postures. This educational weekend will focus on:
- Anatomical alignment and cues for "advanced" asana, including: binds, crow poses, koundinyasanas, hanumanasana, vaschistasana B, compass pose, backbends, and inversions
- How to structure an advanced class around anatomy
- Advancing foundational asana
- Teaching challenging asana in class vs a workshop setting
- Variations and making "advanced" asana approachable
- Mobility work
- Theming for strong poses
