I love pop and Britney Spears will always have a place in my heart but I play a mix of everything - think good vibes: indie pop, current hits, can't forget the 80s, I don't discriminate. A good remix that breathes new life into an old track gives me goosebumps. And yes, I did see Britney in Vegas. It was the best night of my life.
Odd Fact:
I was interviewed on the Today show as a kid! I spent weeks painting a poster of the hosts at the time - Katie Couric and Bryant Gumble. I would come home after school, finish my homework, throw my smock on and paint away! When we visited the Today show, my mom asked the security guards to send my poster to Katie's office. She liked it so much, she interviewed me on air!

My Class Style:
There is a time and a place to be super serious, my class is not that place. Let's laugh, have fun and SMILE! I offer a challenge, encourage exploration, and invite you to take a break from everything outside the yoga room. Your brain and body will thank you.

My mom always pushed me to go to yoga with her when I was in high school, but I was incredibly stubborn and never went, wish I would have listened then! I grew up as an athlete - I played soccer, softball, and was a cheerleader. I didn't think yoga was for me. I took my first yoga class as a college elective, but I didn't start practicing regularly until after school. I moved to LA to work in the entertainment industry, which sounds very glamorous, but it was more like "The Office" - I was living the cubicle life. Practicing yoga has helped me balance the stress of work and everyday life, but it also reduces the pain I have from working at a computer. While I was working 9 to 5 (but really to 7 or 7:30), I decided to sign up for a teacher training to further my practice. That's when everything changed. To put it simply, I realized cubicle life was not the life for me and it was time to put happiness first. Now I work at One Down Dog full time as an instructor, I'm also the "Manager of Many Things." I've been a part of the ODD Fam for a while now, I went to the studio's very first class in 2013 and completed ODD's inaugural teacher training in 2014. I am also trained in Yin, Trauma-Informed Yoga and I completed the ODDFIT training. I also have a Pilates Certification. Nothing beats the high you get at the end of a yoga class and I look forward to sharing that with you!
