I’m originally from Wisconsin but have been a global citizen for most of my adult life. Before moving to LA, I lived in Australia, Brazil, and Spain, with many adventures in between.
I found my yoga practice after ending my career as a track and field athlete in college. My hips were tight, my lower back was sore, and my body felt stiff. A heated room with a few funky movements caught my attention. The challenge of creating shapes, the presence required, and the concentration to complete a class gave me the same runner's high I had on the track. I was hooked after one class. Since starting my journey as a teacher, I’ve completed my 200-hour and 120-hour training in trauma-informed yoga as well as mat pilates and barre. I love movement!
