Advanced Training: Understanding Common Conditions & Pain
Join Niki Saccarreccia, eRYT-500, for this 18-hour signature training that will explore how to understand common conditions and pain as they present in a yoga class.
What to expect:
- Studies in the anatomy of the core and spine, the deep front line and iliopsoas complex, the nervous system, and its role in pain
- Considerations and best practices for working with people in pain, including how your teaching approach potentially affects your students
- Pace, tone, sequencing for load and accessibility - both in a group class setting and in private practice
- Applications for common conditions like lower back pain, disc herniation and spinal fusion, sciatica, scoliosis, limited range of motion, chronic pain and arthritis
This weekend is open to all who are curious!
*note: this will only count toward a 300 hr. teacher training if you have already completed 200 hr.
