My Class Style:
I offer dynamic and appropriately challenging yoga instruction: my style is both soothing and energizing, intended to enhance my students' ability to use their yoga practice and breath as tools to control or at least improve their realities.
While I’ve always been an athlete—playing Division 1 Women’s Soccer at the peak of my athletic career—I was first formally introduced to yoga in college when I opted to take an “Intro to Yoga” course during my undergraduate studies, and soon after, “Sikhism” which introduced me to meditation and breath work. In 2018 I found a home at a local studio and became inspired to serve my community as an instructor.

I see myself as both a student and teacher who empowers others to use movement as a tool for developing self-awareness and navigating adversity with confidence and clarity. I offer dynamic and appropriately challenging yoga instruction: my style is both soothing and energizing, intended to enhance participants’ ability to use their yoga practice and breath as tools to control or at least improve their realities.
I intentionally create nourishing fitness environments rooted in culture, diversity, and movement where all folks (especially those historically excluded) can feel joy and empowerment. One of my goals is for folks to leave my classes feeling more confident, self-aware, invigorated, and self-loving. As a NASM-Certified Personal Trainer, 200-hour Yoga Teacher, Nike Well Collective Trainer, and group fitness professional, I am particularly obsessed with yoga for its ability to fortify the mind and body, and its capacity to unveil that the body will go well beyond where the mind believes. My 20+ years of experience as an athlete established my sense of self, but yoga proved that my body’s strength is beyond limitation.
