I came to yoga to find a place to pause from what was an increasingly overwhelming work life. I stayed, and ended up training as a teacher, because of the way it made me feel, the ability to be at home in my body and my breath, to escape from the chatter. I chose to teach so I could translate that same feeling to others, to help find space to breathe and feel in their bodies, to form connections, to share thoughts and themes that resonate with me, and hopefully find a few smiles along the way. I truly believe that yoga is a tool for everyone, for every body, every experience and am dedicated to sharing it. I completed my 200-hour teacher training at One Down Dog and prenatal training with Kim Neer at One Down Dog and Alice Sicuro in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. I am constantly searching for more opportunities to learn and grow; I see each class I teach as an opportunity to discover something new with my students and I can’t get enough of it.
