Meet Our Newest ODDfam Member, Cerrissa!

Aug 27th, 2020 Abbigail #ODDlight, Community

Get ready to put in work with Cerrissa Koza (pronounced Sur-iss-a), the newest member of the ODDfam! Book a FIT or SWEAT class with her this week >>

Tell us about your journey from student to teacher!

I moved to Boulder, Colorado in 2014 and found vinyasa & yoga sculpt, then became next-level obsessed with the different ways that you can practice yoga, on and off the mat. I did my first 200-hour teacher training then taught and led teacher training until moving back to California recently. I also utilized the skills from my day job (graphic design) to help design teacher training manuals and sequence books for yoga teachers.

How would people describe your classes or your style of teaching?

My classes are music-driven, sweaty, and hard but always with intention. This yoga stuff is for real, we're here to heal through purposeful breath. My goal is to help you build wild self-confidence through movement, so that you may be your fullest self and of service to the world.

What's an ODD fact about you?

I spent my youth wearing Adidas clothes 5x my size and listening to Rotterdam Hardcore, so if you used to rave around L.A. in the early 2000's we may have shared a dance OR a dance battle. I'm music obsessed and for sure the #1 Spotify DJ in my house.

Catch her in class! >>
