BIPOC 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training Scholarship Application

Feb 8th, 2021 Abbigail Education, Practice

This is your invitation to join the One Down Dog family.

YOU are welcome here just as you are, with what you already have. We work with what we've got one day at a time, one down dog at a time.

Part of our mission statement includes the following: We are committed to creating a welcoming and accepting place for all to come together and connect both on the mat and off.

One Down Dog recognizes that the word "all" encompasses all races, body types, and abilities. We created this yoga scholarship to the 200hr Yoga Teacher Training to encourage better representation in the yoga community and provide accessibility and inclusion from the start.

This scholarship is for the BIPOC community and can be applied to One Down Dog's Spring 2021 Teacher Training that begins on March 11th.

It covers half of the $3,000 tuition; bringing the tuition cost down to $1,500 for one chosen recipient. Upon approval of your scholarship, a $500 non-refundable deposit is due and the remainder of the tuition can be paid all at once or One Down Dog can set up a payment plan for you. Recipients will be asked to sign a contract that includes our cancellation policy.

Application Deadline: February 11, 2021

One Down Dog will review applications and email finalists with any clarifying questions.

Looking to take classes and get on the mat? We also have a ODD student fund. Supported by our community's donations - we have funds to help you maintain your membership and bring yoga into your life.

Email hello@onedowndog.com to learn more about the student fund.
