This #ODDlight feature is a unique one as we will be featuring YOU for the rest of the holiday season! Several blogs to feature small slices of this big #ODDfam and featuring students on our Facebook and Instagram for the rest of the year!
Meet Miry!
Most of you probably already have - especially if you are #OneDownParent like she is. She found One Down Dog when she was pregnant and she ended up staying because it kept her sane after, before, and while wrangling kids. This badass woman, #normalizebreastfeeding mama, and creative soul brightens up the classroom every time she's here. We recommend following Miry online for a little slice of real life as a yoga mom. One Down Dog has taken an extra interest in Miry and her amazing project - Miry's List - An organization to work with Syrian refugee families and welcome them to the US. Click the link to learn more and stay tuned for more info on how to support through ODD.
Meet Ben!
You will only have met Ben if you got your butt out of bed and into an early AM yoga class. You'll find Ben in the first class of the day 5 days of the week for over 2 years. DEDICATION. He's missed when he's not there as he is always solid presence. His daughter follows us on instagram too and that makes us feel like its a real #ODDfam.
Meet Claudia!
She walked into One Down Dog this summer for her VERY FIRST yoga class. She's now joined the ODDfamily unlimited membership and is making yoga a part of her weekly routine. She takes mostly CHILL and BUTI but has tried just about every class we have. Thumbs up is a mudra we do a lot at One Down Dog.
Every month we ask you all questions on that blackboard in Silverlake and we've been asking you questions on Instagram too. So lets get to know this crazy #ODDfam. Here is a random selection of questions and answers from you guys in the past year.

Meet Megan!
She's another one who's part of the AM crew. 5 days a week you'll catch her there before everyone else stretching it out. She's participated in any challenge we've had at One Down Dog. Megan is great at yoga - she knows the spots she physically holds tension but more importantly she's a really amazing woman who makes good eye contact, sincere conversation, and works through things in a really honest and kind way. Our favorite kind of yogi'
Meet Jennifer!
You've probably already met her or taken class beside her as she's been going to yoga about 5 days a week for all of 2016. All different types and both locations. She made a promise to herself for the year and has stuck with it. We all know how impressive that commit and stick is. She competes in our challenges and sets them for herself. She's a librarian, a dedicated yogi, a big smiler, and somebody we hope keeps coming to class all the damn time in 2017 too!
See somebody in class all the damn time we should feature? Let us know! Follow us online to see who else will be featured.
